About Judee Stalmack
I hope to let our photos tell the story of this once-in-our-lifetime adventure and write explanations only when necessary. To be honest, this phlog is as much for me (it's my scrapbook) as it is for anyone who checks in.
So....on with the phlog. I'll just phumble along . . . . Life Goes On...
Life Goes On
Our daughter, Donna, set up this blog-site for me--but, alas, I neglected to learn how to use it while she was with us. So, she's sending how-to e-mails from the other side of the world.
She calls this a "blog." But I prefer to call it a "phlog" because my intent is to do as little blabbing (aka writing) as possible . I hope to let our photos tell the story of this once-in-our-lifetime adventure and write explanations only when necessary. To be honest, this phlog is as much for me (it's my scrapbook) as it is for anyone who checks in.

My husband and I have been homeless for the past 15 years, with our e-mail address being the only permanent one. We have spent these years cruising the Atlantic coast aboard a sailboat and exploring the U.S., Canada, and Mexico in a motorhome. Every so often we put both vehicles in storage to take extended cruises and vacations abroad.
Because it fit so well with our lifestyle, I adopted photography as a hobby. When I became a freelance writer for boating and RVing magazines. I developed more confidence in my photography each time one of my photos was used as a magazine cover-shot, which by the way, also elevated my story to the featured position in that issue.
In time photography became my passion. (My husband would call it an obsession.) To stay in touch with family and friends, I began using my photographs, and my creative writing skills, to print and send greeting cards. More recently, during the last six years, I have created and e-mailed over a thousand digital postcards. (I guess the numbers prove my husband is right.) Every photograph I take, I take with the intention of sharing it with someone--either in an article or as a card. I would love that someone to be you.
